Movie Plot:
Soon after her return from a small business trip to Hong Kong, Beth Emhoff dies from what is a flu or some other form of infection. Her young son dies a few days later. Her husband Mitch however appears immune. As a result starts the spread of a deadly infection. For medical doctors and administrators at the U.S. Center for Disease Manage, many days pass in advance of any individual realizes the extent or gravity of this new infection. They should 1st determine the form of virus in question and then find a signifies of combating it, a method that will most likely take several months. As the contagion spreads to millions of folks throughout the world, societal order begins to break down as men and women panic.
