Movie Plot:
A young girl (Child Doll) is locked away in a mental asylum by her abusive stepfather in which she will undergo a lobotomy in five days' time. Faced with unimaginable odds, she retreats to a fantastical globe in her imagination where she and four other female inmates at the asylum, plot to escape the facility. The lines amongst reality and fantasy blur as Child Doll and her four companions, as very well as a mysterious manual, battle to retrieve the five items they want that will let them to break cost-free from their captors in advance of it's as well late...
An action fantasy set in the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream globe offers the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and location, she is free to go exactly where her mind requires her, and her unbelievable adventures blur the lines among what is genuine and what is imaginary. She has been locked away against her will, but Babydoll (Emily Browning) has not lost her will to survive. Established to battle for her freedom, she urges 4 other young girls -- the outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), the street-wise Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), the fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung) and the reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish) -- to band collectively and try out to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors, Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino) and the Substantial Roller (Jon Hamm). Led by Babydoll, the girls engage in fantastical warfare against every thing from samurais to serpents, with a virtual arsenal at their disposal. Together, they should come to a decision what they are prepared to sacrifice in order to stay alive. But with the enable of a Wise Man (Scott Glenn), their unbelievable journey -- if they be successful -- will set them cost-free.
